Our administrative litigation team represents clients on tax, foreign trade, environmental, Ejido (agrarian), government procurement, intellectual property, standards and executive rulemaking, immunity, and consumer protection actions, among others.
Other types of administrative actions for which we provide
representation include:

Challenging on both substantive and procedural grounds the
legality of public awarded by state-owned enterprises such as PEMEX, CFE

Defending private landowners against title disputes filed by Ejido
groups

Bringing and defending actions against consumer protection claims filed
before the Mexican consumer protection board, PROFECO

Bringing and defending against actions brought before the Mexican
Intellectual Property Institute (IMPI) with respect to patents,
trade names, marks and secrets, copyrights, know-how, trade
secrets, confidential information protected by confidentiality and
NDAs, and other protected intellectual property rights

Bringing constitutional injunction (Amparo) actions to enjoin

Tax
Litigation
The Firm has particular expertise in representing clients in tax proceedings, including:

Advising clients regarding claims before fiscal authorities.

Obtaining resolutions from the tax authorities.

Preparing and pursuing Nullity claims against rulings sentenced by tax courts and/or tax authorities.

Preparing and handling constitutional appeal (Amparo) lawsuits against tax laws and fiscal rulings (once administrative remedies are exhausted).

Filing petitions before the tax authority to preemptively to seek a favorable administrative resolution regarding the exemption or applicability of a particular tax on a given transaction of type of transaction.
