Eduardo de la Parra Trujillo is an associate in the Mexico City office and is a member of the Copyright, Entertainment and Media Law Practice Group.

Mr. De la Parra specializes in copyright and related rights, media law, freedom of speech, computer law and Internet law.

Mr. De la Parra earned his law degree a law degree (graduated with honors) from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a Masters in Intellectual Property and Information Society Law from the University of Alicante (Spain); he also completed a specialization in Intellectual Property Law at the Panamerican University (Mexico) and postgraduate studies in copyright law at the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina).

During his time in Europe, Mr. De la Parra worked at the European Union’s Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (the Design and Trademark Office of the European Union) and at the European Union’s Intellectual Property Rights Help Desk as an academic researcher.

Mr. De la Parra is a professor of Intellectual Property at the UNAM (at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels) and teaches a postgraduate course in the right to publicity at the Panamerican University. He has been a visiting professor at the University of Alicante. He has published several articles about his specialization in Mexico and abroad.

Mr. De la Parra is fluent in Spanish and English.
