Federico Nuñez is a partner in Mexico City office and a member of the Firm’s Financial Practice Group.

Mr. Nuñez’s practice focuses on banking law, stock market law, corporate law and project finance.

Mr. Nuñez graduated with honors from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and also completed a Masters Degree in International Business at Columbia University, during which time he was a foreign associate with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton (New York Office).

Before joining the Firm, he was a partner for the last three years at Gaxiola Moraila y Asociados, S.C., practicing banking, securities, project finance and corporate law. He worked for several years in the public administration, holding different positions such as Deputy Fiscal Attorney for Financial Affairs in the Ministry of Finance, General Counsel of “Valuación y Venta de Activos” and the Vice President for International Affairs of the National Banking and Securities Commission.

He is fluent in English and Spanish.
